Sylvie Boisel regularly performs shows all over Sydney, Melbourne and Paris. She performs her classic French hits like She,The Autumn Leaves, I Will Wait, The Old Fashioned Way, La Vie En Rose, Ne Me Quittes Pas, Non Rien De Rien, and other great jazz classics like C’est Magnifique, S’Wonderful, Cry Me A River (in French) and Mack The Knife. Sylvie Boisel is an ambassador of French music in Australia, singing in the most pure tradition with her authentic French accent. Her vocals and her heartfelt performances are both beautiful and bewitching. Sylvie is an extraordinary interpreter of songs from fabulous, famous French singers like Edith Piaf, Charles Aznavour, Charles Trenet and Jacques Brel. Her repertoire also includes songs by some of her favourite jazz singers: Ella Fitzgerald, Nat King Cole, Louis Armstrong and Shirley Bassey.

F rench Vocalist, Sylvie Boisel grew up in Marseille and moved to Paris aged 18 where she studied drama, dancing and singing at Compagnie Catherine Brieux, Ecole Jacqueline Duc, Studio Alice Dona and Studio des Variétés over the next 9 years. After working as an actress, Sylvie’s passion for music and singing lead her to perform on stage in Paris for the next 10 years as a comedian-singer -See the past - click here - in concerts, cabarets, festivals, piano bars and theatres all over France, as well as recording CD’s and performing on television and in radio studios including Radio France and Europe 1 & Europe 2. During this period she won many awards and competitions and received critical acclaim from the French Press. Sylvie has performed at many prestigious events in Australia including the opening night of the 2007 Sydney Film Festival to promote La Vie En Rose (the film about the life of Edith Piaf, starring Oscar winner Marion Cotillard) where she was accompanied by Monsieur Camembert Band. Other recent events include the opening of La Vie En Rose at Sydney’s Dendy Cinema, performances at Alliance Francaise de Sydney, The Melba Festival, The Sydney Multicultural Festival, Carols in The Cauldron at Sydney Olympic Park, Royal Sydney Golf Club, The French Lion’s Club, French Rugby Lunch at Guillaume at Sydney Opera House,The Wallabies Farewell Lunch at the Sydney Town Hall in front of special guest, former Prime Minister of Australia, John Howard and the Bright Festival and Moe Jazz Festival both in Victoria
